Fable & Spirit reopens Takeout Service

Newport Beach’s Fable & Spirit reopened for takeout service in the Via Lido Plaza. Now you can enjoy Chef Executive Chef David Shofner’s imaginative, globally inspired dishes. In addition, Sommelier Ali Coyle will present a curated list of wines offered at exceptional prices, and Director of Spirits Drew Coyle will present a selection of cocktails to go.
Guests will be able to order by phone or online Tuesday through Sunday. Menu, hours, and online ordering will be updated at fableandspirit.com. Orders may be placed between Noon and 6 p.m., for pick-up between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. The restaurant will be closed Monday. Contactless curbside pick-up can be requested when placing orders.
“Ours are neighborhood restaurants that have achieved success because of the communities that support them, and we are grateful to reopen to see the reassuring smiles of our friends during this time of uncertainty,” comments Darren Coyle, who owns Fable & Spirit, Dublin 4 Gastropub, and Wineworks for Everyone with his wife, Jean. “We look forward to when we can welcome guests into our dining room again for food, drink and good times, but for now, we will limit service to takeout and strive to share some of the spirit and magic of our family with yours.”

SHERMAN LIBRARY & GARDENS REOPENS

Sherman Library & Gardens, a nationally recognized botanical garden and proud member of the American Public Gardens Association, reopened to the public. The Corona del Mar cultural center is offering limited admission tickets on their website thesherman.org.
Tickets are limited and for designated times to ensure safe distancing and to allow for proper sanitation. All guests need to reserve tickets online prior to visiting. Members must reserve their free tickets online prior to visiting.
Non-members must buy tickets online in advance. Admission for non-members is $5 per person. Admission for members is free. Tickets will not be available at the door.
When visiting, guests will enter through the South gate located off the back parking lot. The lot can be accessed off of Dahlia Street or Fernleaf Avenue. The East Coast Highway entrance will not be open. All guests are asked to wear a face-covering and sanitize their hands upon arrival.
“While much of the world has been quieted by quarantine, Sherman Gardens has been budding, blooming, and blossoming like crazy! We want the public to come and enjoy the gardens, albeit safely and strategically. We’re rolling out limited admission tickets with designated arrival times. Details are on thesherman.org website. I hope our members, volunteers, and guests will reserve their tickets online and enjoy a beautiful spring day in the gardens,” said Scott LaFleur, Executive Director of Sherman Library & Gardens.
