LAM Re-Opens and Extends Granville Redmond Exhibition
09.14.20
With guidance from CDPH to create a safer environment for staff and visitors, the Laguna Art Museum is now open. Museum visitors will be screened for symptoms, including a contactless temperature check; face masks are required for visitors and staff, and physical distancing is encouraged. Advance tickets for timed entry are required to ensure the 25 percent capacity required in Tier 2.
Granville Redmond: The Eloquent Palette, which was scheduled to close on September 20, will be extended through November 15, 2020. The exhibition was organized by the Crocker Art Museum, where its run was cut short in March. It opened at Laguna Art Museum on June 28 before California museums closed again three days later.
With approximately eighty-five signature paintings, Granville Redmond: The Eloquent Palette is the largest ever assembled and the first exhibition in more than thirty years dedicated to this leading figure in California Impressionism. The museum is delighted to announce its re-opening and an additional eight weeks for visitors to experience this landmark exhibition.
