OC Live Concert Series Brings Music & Arts to Center Stage with 20+ Live Performances through May 15

Get ready to celebrate the Orange County community with delicious eats, good company, and rockin’ live music - all while supporting a great cause! Presented by Orange County Supervisor Katrina Foley via the County’s Arts-Related Grant Relief Program, the inaugural Live Concert Series will bring the power of live music to multiple venues in Orange County with live music performances from over twenty local artists, through May 15th. 

Nightly performances will continue throughout the week at Dick Church’s, STRUT Bar & Club, and culminate with performances at the Newport Dunes on Saturday and Sunday, and at Cafe Sevilla on Sunday. The inaugural concert series was created to support local artists, raise more funds for arts programming, and aim to bring more business to local restaurants and venues that struggled during the pandemic. All proceeds will go toward creating more grants for musicians for another concert series, as well as more arts and culture programming across Orange County. Sushi Roku & Segerstrom Center Partner on Tootsie-inspired Specials

Sushi Roku and Segerstrom Center for the Arts have teamed up to highlight Tootsie-inspired specials to promote the hilarious Tony Award-winning musical, which comes to Orange County later this month. 

From May 12 to June 12, Sushi Roku at Fashion Island will offer a special Tootsie Roll and Tootsie Pop cocktail to highlight the laugh-out-loud musical. Those who order the special roll or cocktail may enter to win a pair of tickets to see Tootsie at Segerstrom Center (guests will receive an entry form at the time of purchase to be entered to win; one pair of tickets will be awarded each week for the first three weeks of the promotion).

In addition, Sushi Roku guests may purchase select Orchestra Terrace tickets to any weeknight performance of Tootsie for a special price of $35 by using the promo code ROKU upon checkout online at scfta.org.

TOOTSIE ROLL – a stunning specialty roll featuring cucumber, asparagus, and avocado, topped with yellowfin tuna sashimi, spicy tuna and lotus root chips, drizzled with a sweet red chili sauce

TOOTSIE POP – a bright, “sassy” cocktail featuring fresh watermelon, blood orange, yuzu, and tequila
