Pass and Share at the new OPM Restaurant and Lounge
08.25.15
Huntington Beach is booming with new great restaurants to choose from. We just celebrated the second location of our favorite sandwich shop in OC, Sessions West Coast Deli on the Pacific Coast Highway, and we love the ocean views and dining experience at BLK Earth Sea Spirits at Main and Pacific Coast Highway. And now, OPM Restaurant and Lounge just opened on Warner Avenue. With a modern twist on American cuisine with global influences, OPM is bringing new flavors, small bites and a tapas concept to the Orange County restaurant scene.
Executive Chef Charles Cho, a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, credits his signature flavors from his love of blending cultures and ingredients from his vast extensive experience around the world including Japan, Korea, Hawaii, London, Paris, New York, Mexico and California.
Chef Cho was also involved with the opening of Good Times at Davey Wayne’s in Hollywood, Escala in Koreatown, and Flat Top in New York. With the trio successful restaurants under his belt, Chef Cho is bringing his experience and interesting flavors to OPM with new menu items like chicken lollipops, bone marrow with caramelized onions and raisin jam, pork belly buns and green tea tiramisu.
Chef Cho is also experimenting with hits like the popular Hello Kitty pancakes on the brunch menu, or his foie gras ice cream for dessert.
OPM also offers a wide selection of craft cocktails, a boutique wine list with different varietals from all over the world, weekly specials including Tapas Tuesday, Champagne & Oysters, and Sunday Brunch with pork belly chilaquiles, a bloody mary bar, and Hello Kitty pancakes.
Open 5 p.m. to midnight Tuesday through Thursday; 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
OPM Restaurant and Lounge is at 8901 Warner Ave. in Huntington Beach. 714.848.1188.
