BeautyLand Open House at Cosmeticare

Want to know more about non-invasive beauty treatments? CosmetiCare, a leading cosmetic surgery center and medspa in Newport Beach, is throwing its second annual BeautyLand event on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. They aim to answer any questions you might have about lasers, body sculpting and other cosmetic procedures. Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.

You can tour CosmetiCare’s seven signature rooms and watch demos on techniques to correct wrinkles, loose and sagging skin, uneven tone and pigmentation, rosacea and more. DARYA CELEBRATES 30 YEARS

The award-winning Darya at South Coast Plaza Village serving Persian cuisine in an elegant setting, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this month. Today—Monday, Nov. 14-- Darya will roll back prices at lunch and dinner for two of its most popular entrees: chelo beef kebab and boneless chicken kebab, both served with basmati rice and roasted tomato. Each will be $6.95 with the purchase of any beverage from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. 

On the everyday menu, the price for chelo kebab, a skewer of juicy strips of charbroiled seasoned ground beef, is $16. The marinated charbroiled, boneless breast and leg of chicken is $21.

“This is just a small way for us to extend our sincere thanks for the support the Orange County community at large has shown to us all these years,” said Reza “Ray” Esfahanian, operating partner of Darya and co-owner along with partners Ali Abedi and Sohrab Salute.

Darya (a girl’s name in Farsi that means “sea”) has shined for three decades as the perfect spot to experience fine Persian dining with family recipes that have created a large and dedicated following.
