Luxe and Eco Friendly Dog Bed
01.10.17
You can spoil your canine companion with a new B & G Martin luxury dog bed they deserve. These premium plush beds are made from the best (and sustainable) materials like animal-friendly faux leather and eco-friendly poly fill.
They have a strict policy against using animal products, they never use leather, wool, goose down or feathers, and fur. And, to top it all off they are easy to clean. They fit in perfectly with any home décor.
Every time a B & G Martin luxury dog bed is purchased, a pup in need will be spayed or neutered with the proceeds going toward the cause of reducing pet overpopulation. Each time an accessory, like fitted linen, is bought a pooch receives a crucial vaccine that prevents harmful diseases such as rabies or parvo.
B & G Martin dog beds can be found at high-end hotels, including Five Star and Five Diamond Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills and several other pet-friendly establishments.

RARE in the Square
01.09.17
Orange County based Global Genes, a leading global advocacy organization for rare disease, is making great strides today for the rare disease community. It’s holding its first-ever RARE in the Square (RITS) today through January 11 at Union Square in San Francisco.
The inaugural RITS coincides with the JP Morgan's Healthcare Conference (JPM), creating the opportunity for rare disease focused companies and organizations to network at the conference epicenter in a one-of-a-kind space. Rare diseases affect 1 in 10 Americans, 30 million people in the United States, and 350 million people globally. Over 7,000 distinct rare diseases exist and approximately 80 percent are caused by faulty genes - so this event is a huge win for the rare disease community.
“Rare disease has become an important area of investment in healthcare, with an annual growth rate nearly double the general drug market, some important treatments reaching the market just last year, and even more progress anticipated in 2017,” said Nicole Boice, CEO and Founder of Global Genes. “We are bringing rare disease companies, investors and patient communities together at RARE in the SQUARE to celebrate advances, and to foster new connections that will be the basis for future innovations for the thousands of other rare diseases in need of treatments.”
Staging the conference at Union Square is a great way to bring awareness, network and remind everyone how much more work is needed.
