ADYA Introduces Diwali Candle Collection to Celebrate the Festival of Lights
10.12.22
ADYA Executive Chef & Partner Shachi Mehra has introduced three all-natural, reiki and crystal-infused candles in conjunction with Diwali, or the "festival of lights," an ancient Hindu holiday celebrated in India every fall. To create the Diwali Candle Collection, Chef Shachi partnered with another female small business owner, Courtney Collins, of Light + Keys. The three candles, The Light of Diwali, The Light of Lakshmi, and The Light of Ganesha, are made with 100% soy wax, organic cotton wicks, pure essential oils, and natural stones. Each candle is reiki charged and hand-poured in small batches.
They are available for purchase online at lightandkeys.com, and will soon retail at ADYA Anaheim at The Packing House and online at spicegirlsauces.com during the month of October.
The ADYA Diwali Candle Collection consists of the following three candles:
The Light of Diwali
Essential oils: Clove, Apple + Ginger
Watermelon Tourmaline | New Beginnings – Discovery, Inspiration
Amazonite | Enlightenment – Alignment, Joy
Citrine | Prosperity – Creativity, Optimism
Pyrite | Good Fortune – Manifestation, Strength
The Light of Lakshmi
Essential oils: Coriander, Orange + Ginger
Strawberry Quartz | Manifestation – Abundance, Love
Peach Moonstone | Serendipity – Trust, Vision
Amethyst | Expansion – Wisdom, Dreams
Pyrite | Good Fortune – Manifestation, Strength
The Light of Ganesha
Essential oils: Eucalyptus, Sage + Ginger
Moss Agate | New Beginnings – Growth, Protection
Prehnite | Connection + Communication – To Higher Power
Jade | Life Force Energy – Luck, Opportunities
Pyrite | Good Fortune – Manifestation, Strength
“Candles play an important role in so many cultural celebrations, and this partnership for Diwali is such a natural fit for us,” commented Collins, who pours each candle by hand and infuses it with reiki, or universal life force energy. “I worked hand-in-hand with Chef Shachi to create a collection that not only represented her culture but also serve as a way to increase awareness for one of the most important Indian holidays.”
The Diwali Candle Collection consists of three candles and each can be purchased individually for $26. The candles are available for purchase online at lightandkeys.com, and will soon retail at ADYA Anaheim at The Packing House and online at spicegirlsauces.com during the month of October.
