Rose Bakery Café Opens in Orange
10.26.25
For the third time in 27 years, Rose Bakery Café expanded with a new location in the city of Orange. It marks the café’s second opening this year.
The new café, located at Orange Town & Country Plaza at 763 South Main Street, spans more than 3,000 square feet and features a spacious outdoor patio where guests can relax and enjoy the signature flavors that have made Rose a local favorite for nearly three decades.
Known for its fresh donuts, bold coffee, hearty breakfast burritos and classic lunch sandwiches, Rose Bakery Café has become a staple in Corona del Mar and most recently Irvine. Regularly named “Best Breakfast in Orange County,” the café is excited to bring its tradition of hospitality and community connection to Orange.
Over the years, Rose has built a loyal following of families and food lovers who return time and again for breakfast, lunch or a quick cup of coffee. With its warm atmosphere and quality ingredients, the new Orange location continues the proud tradition.
The Orange café also features Rose’s co-joining concept with Laventina’s Big Cheese Pizza. Guests can also be enjoy Laventina’s popular pizzas, salads, wings and more alongside Rose’s baked goods and breakfast specialties. This marks the second co-branded location for the two concepts.
Founded in Corona del Mar, Rose Bakery Café has been serving the community for 27 years with a commitment to freshness, quality and friendly service. The café is known for its handcrafted donuts, premium coffee, famous breakfast burritos and made-daily baked goods. Guests can enjoy dine-in, takeout, delivery or catering options.

Last Chance to Dine at 608 Dahlia Before Oct. 26
10.21.25
608 Dahlia, located within Sherman Library & Gardens in Corona del Mar, has announced that its final day of service will be Sunday, Oct. 26 — giving guests just a few more days to visit before the restaurant closes. After four wonderful years, the restaurant will close its doors as the landlord has chosen not to renew the lease.
Led by Chef Jessica Roy, 608 Dahlia has become known for its garden-to-table California cuisine inspired by its setting among the blooming flower streets and surrounding botanical gardens. The team expressed deep gratitude to the guests, partners and community who have supported the restaurant throughout its time in Newport Beach.
Chef Roy emphasized that this is not a farewell. She will open a new restaurant in Sunset Beach, where she will continue to evolve 608 Dahlia’s signature seasonal cooking and create a warm gathering space for events and celebrations.
Guests are encouraged to visit this week to experience 608 Dahlia one last time in its Sherman Library & Gardens setting.
Chef Jessica Roy and the 608 Dahlia team thank the community for being part of their story and look forward to welcoming everyone to their new home soon.
