We’ve always loved Royal Khyber Fine Indian Cuisine, so we are excited about celebrating this South Coast Plaza Village’s 30th anniversary with a $30 prix fixe dinner (which includes a glass of wine!).
Proprietors Urmil and Arun Puri’s dinner special includes a choice of spicy tandoori kebabs for two, daal (lentil) soup, gourmet greens with tamarind-ginger-honey dressing or a vegetarian assortment of samosa, aloo tikki and onion bhajia. Entrée selections (served with basmati rice pilaf, vegetables and tandoori or garlic nan) feature the restaurant 's signature dish: Khyber’s Nectar (a fall-apart lamb shank braised for hours in spices) or salmon malabar, chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala or vegetarian thali.
For dessert, pick from kulfi with cannoli, carrot pudding with coconut ice cream or Puri’s popular rice pudding with pistachios and almonds. Plus, the meal also includes a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage.

We hope that you already bought tickets to the 11th Annual OC Music Awards event on Saturday at City National Grove of Anaheim. The premiere annual music event that celebrates local talent is officially sold out. The event will be hosted by KROQ's Psycho Mike with honors in 26 categories and eight live performances by local artists. The Orange County Impact Award will be presented to Thrice and the show will honor KROQ's own radio personality, Rodney Bingenheimer, "Rodney on the ROQ," with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
