Leave Work Early! It’s Haven’s 5-Year Anniversary

Today, Haven Gastropub in Old Towne Orange celebrates its 5-year anniversary. Make plans now -- this is an all-day celebration you do not want to miss. Haven opens at 10 a.m. and will present an impressive line-up of craft beers on tap, along with chef specials throughout the day.
From 10 to 11 a.m. Enjoy their noted Haven Burger, served a la carte, with Dr. Strange Matter, a collaboration for the OC Brew Ha Ha from Bottle Logic and Iron Fist, for only $10.
From 3 to 4 p.m. Chefs will be roasting a whole Suckling Pig for the occasion and serving it up in the form of street tacos! Enjoy 2 tacos and Blind Pig by Russian River for only $10. They will also be tapping Pliny the Elder at this time.

Opening Night NB Wine and Food Fest

The inaugural Newport Beach Wine and Food Festival opening night will be celebrated at RED O Restaurant hosted by Master Chef Rick Bayless on Friday, Sept 19 from 6:30 to 11 p.m. You can enjoy a star-studded evening with celebrity chefs, cocktail party, three-course wine and food pairing and live and silent auctions offering one-of-a-kind luxury experiences.
All proceeds raised through the auctions and donations will benefit the Festival’s charity partners, Hoag Hospital Foundation’s Circle 1000 and Project Hope Alliance.
VIP Launch Party at RED O on Friday, Sept 19 from 6:30 to 11 p.m., tickets cost $350.
