CHA CHA’S LATIN KITCHEN 6TH ANNUAL ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

For the six year anniversary celebration of Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen in downtown Brea on Thursday, Oct. 22 starting at 5 p.m., the restaurant is going all out with festivities to include a live Latin band, drink and lobster specials and a raffle benefiting the Brea Olinda High School boy’s basketball team.

Party goers will enjoy lobster-themed specials, select grande margaritas for $10 such as their seasonal cranberry margarita made with 100% blue agave tequila, mulled cranberries, Cointreau and house made sweet and sour. Guests can also choose from a vast selection of premium tequilas offered in various flights and pair them with signature entrees like their seafood caldo or carnitas.

Chef Joe Martinez will be offering three lobster specials:

Lobster Taco: crisp, maseca dusted lobster slipper tails in a grilled flour tortilla, romaine and red cabbage tossed in chili vinaigrette, heirloom pico de gallo, avocado, crema fresca and lime; and Lobster Tamale: sweet corn masa filled with poached fresh main lobster and verdolagas in a creamy chili de pasilla-sherry sauce – crema fresca and micro cilantro; and Grilled Main Lobster: split in half and grilled with a Spanish chorizo stuffing, garlic-epazote butter, sautéed calabacitas and spinach.

StyleCon - Where Beauty Meets Fashion Expo

StyleCon, beauty and fashion’s newest event, will debut in Orange County at The Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  StyleCon is a platform for all things style – trends, culture, beauty, fashion and fitness geared towards 16 to 30-year-old fashion-conscious women. Leading brands participating include Topshop, Sleekhair, Kendra Scott, Blushington, Mother Trucker & co., Room & Board, Blowtini and more.

Highlights of StyleCon will include Topshop’s Pop-up Boutique presenting the latest in fall and holiday fashions, unique denim distressing, a nail bar and other exclusive fashion opportunities. Sleekhair is bringing stylists and make-up artists for a spectacular beauty bar with personalized palettes and product advice as well as demonstrations throughout the day.

Blushington is giving complimentary “blush-ups” and StyleCon will also offer food, health and well-being opportunities. You can grab free snacks from SkinnyPOP, VitaCoco, Honest Tea and more. Gourmet food trucks will also offer foods for sale.
