Celestino’s Meats The Old Fashioned Butcher Shop

Thanksgiving is just three days away, but it’s not too late to pick up a fresh turkey at Celestino’s Meats, an old-fashioned butcher shop in Eastside Costa Mesa. It stocks Diestel range-grown turkeys and even offers a holiday menu for every side dish you ever dreamed of.
You can also pick up some of Celestino’s handmade sausages, they make 30 varieties (English style banger sausage, sweet Italian sausage, turkey cranberry to name a few) as well as at least a dozen types of beef and turkey jerky including sugar free and gluten/sugar free varieties.
Open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

Babette’s Take-Away Thanksgiving Dinner

One of our favorite restaurants in Orange County, Babette’s in Crystal Cove is adding holiday dinners to its popular take-away menu.
You can order a Thanksgiving Dinner to go, complete with Herb-Brined Organic Turkey, soup, salad, sides and choice of three fresh, seasonal pies, including a vegan option. Each dinner, can serve 6 guests, is $300 and must be ordered by calling 949.715.9915 today!
All dinners may be picked up between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 26.
Here’s the delicious menu Butternut Squash Soup with toasted maple crostini; Quinoa & Pomegranate Salad with organic baby kale, baby heirloom tomatoes, goat cheese, toasted almonds & Champagne-basil vinaigrette; and a Herb Brined Organic Turkey. The sides include turkey gravy, root vegetable gratin, cranberry sauce, garlic smashed potato, sweet potatoes and spiced apple stuffing. For dessert, choose from pumpkin pie, Bourbon pecan pie or vegan carrot cake.
