The OC MAN-icure and $25,000 manicure
11.02.15
Like its name suggests, Images Luxury Nail Salon--in Newport Beach and two locations in Irvine--offers extravagant services like its $25,000 manicure, but it’s also a great place for a deluxe mani/pedi that will leave you feeling relaxed, pampered and your nails will look great for a reasonable price. They also just debuted a new more masculine menu: the OC MAN-icure Menu, Orange County’s first (and only) mani-pedi services created specifically for men.
Images Luxury Nails Salon offers a luxuriously relaxing environment to make men feel at ease and its new menu offers all of the traditional manicure and pedicure services, like cuticle trimming, buffing, and filing, to ensure men look their best from head to toe. After skin exfoliation and a hot oil treatment, men can indulge in a hand and foot massage (hot-stone optional) or a smoothing callus treatment.
The ultra special occasion $25,000 manicure was created for those looking for the ultimate private experience. The entire salon will be closed for the “Glitz & Glamicure” package that includes a personal consultation to choose a GIA graded diamond that will be incorporated in the manicure; a luxury manicure and pedicure with a one hour massage; Images celebrity makeover (professional hair styling and makeup artist); rejuvenating luxury facial using premium products; choice of eyelash extensions or waxing. To top it off, you’ll enjoy complimentary Champagne and French pastries.

JDRF One Walk
10.30.15
On Sunday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. join me and thousands of others at the JDRF One Walk at Angel Stadium of Anaheim to raise funds for research in the fight against Type 1 diabetes. Formerly known as the JDRF Walk to Cure, the flagship fundraising event for JDRF’s name was changed to communicate the focus on a single goal: creating a world without type 1 diabetes (T1D).
My son Tristan was diagnosed nine years ago this month at age 14. Just to stay alive, he has given himself more than 19,710 shots of insulin since he was diagnosed.
You can team up with JDRF, the only global organization with a strategic plan to fight type 1 diabetes for a fun morning 5K walk with family, friends, and co-workers. You can even bring your dog.
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which a person's pancreas loses the ability to produce insulin — a hormone essential to turning food into energy. It strikes both children and adults suddenly and is unrelated to diet and lifestyle. It requires constant carbohydrate counting, blood-glucose testing, and lifelong dependence on injected insulin.
There are no days off, and there is no cure. That's why JDRF holds more than 200 One Walks across the country every year to raise money for JDRF.
Please register here today.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.; the walk starts at 10 a.m. at Angel Stadium at 2000 Gene Autry Way in Anaheim.
