Chamber Ensemble Dover Quartet’s Segerstrom Center debut

We are giving away a pair of tickets to the award-winning Chamber Ensemble Dover Quartet’s Segerstrom Center debut on Thursday, March 17 at 8 p.m. in Samueli Theater. Simply leave a comment on our Facebook page. We'll choose a winner on Tuesday, March 8.

For its Center debut, the Quartet will perform Mozart’s String Quartet No. 17 in B-flat Major, K. 458; the Center premiere performance of French composer Dutilleux’s “Ainsi la nuit” (1976) and Shostakovich’s Quartet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 68. A free Preview Talk with musicologist and author Herbert Glass will take place at 7:15 p.m.

Tickets for the Dover Quartet start at $29 and are now available online at SCFTA.org, at the Box Office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa or by calling 714.556.2787.

Disney’s OC Chef’s Table

Disney’s OC Chef’s Table culinary event presented by Wells Fargo will be held March 13, 2016, at the Disney Grand Californian Resort & Spa Grand Ballroom. The event, formerly known as Table For 10, will once again feature 30 of Orange County’s top chefs coming together to create a delectable five-course meal prepared tableside at tables decorated to reflect the personality and brand of each restaurant represented. 

All proceeds from the event go to Illumination Foundation, a nonprofit working to end the cycle of homelessness in Orange County.

Last year over $580,000 was raised, which helped the charity with their emergency house build for the homeless families they serve.

The event will begin with a lively cocktail party hosted by Nolet Spirits, who will be serving signature cocktails, and Model Meals will be providing tray passed appetizers.
