1. If you had to begin a different career, what would you do?
That’s a tough one! I would say that how I make decisions in my life is by always being authentically me so I really don’t choose my career. I prefer to say that I allow it. I’m allowing myself to be led by a higher power. I’m allowing my career to find me. So if I had a different career it would be something that is still true to who I am.
2. What’s your most prized possession?
I’d rather think of my most prized possession as being successful in my life, if that could be a possession. Seeing that my children have become who they have become, that they are a extension of who I am and my experiences. That is the definition of success for me.
3. What makes Wild Strawberry Café different from other cafes in the area?
Wild Strawberry Cafe has a sense of community that I think is hard to find. It’s a place where people can slow down from their fast paced lifestyles and where they can find family.
4. What are you most excited about?
I get excited about everything! I’m excited about my personal growth and helping other people in their personal growth. I hope that excitement creates a spark in others.
5. Fantasy purchase?
A large corporate building for Wild Strawberry Cafe.
6. What can’t you live without?
I can’t live without knowing who I am. I couldn’t live without being genuine to myself.
7. What’s next on your “to do” list?
A project for the community. I would like to see people come together and grow together in the community.
8. Biggest regret?
I wish I could think of something I regret, but everything I have done in my life has led me to where I am today and has made me who I am.
9. Cause that you’re most interested/involved in?
I care very much about helping people become educated on healthy living and offering them guidance and support. This is why we've created the wellness services. I enjoy watching people become empowered.
10. Your dream day in Orange County?
A dream day is just to see the community come together at the Wild Strawberry Cafe and then spend a wonderful evening at the Montage in Laguna Beach.
11. You just celebrated your five year anniversary at Wild Strawberry Café, where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself continuing to bring people together but on a much larger scale. I see myself connecting other entrepreneurs all over the world and helping people.
12. What was the best day of your life?
I really have two best days of my life. The days that my children were born.
13. Who had the biggest influence on your life?
Billy Blanks. The day that I saw him on the Oprah show. That was when everything changed for me.
14. Favorite vacation spot?
My home country in Montenegro. I’m not just saying that because it is mine. It's a beautiful place, no pollution and organic foods. It’s a perfect destination spot.
15. If you had to live somewhere else, where would you like to move?
It wouldn’t be far, maybe down the street! I would have to stay in Orange County somewhere.
16. Your biggest extravagance?
My biggest extravagance is probably in how I present myself. I enjoy dressing up because that is me. I believe how you look is a representation of who you are and I love to dress myself up each day.
17. Favorite restaurants in Orange County?
There is one dish I always crave. It’s from R+D Kitchen and it’s called the Mediterranean Seared Tuna Salad.
18. Biggest accomplishment?
Everything I’ve been able to do on my own, even when people told me I couldn’t. Raising healthy, smart children, opening the restaurant, doing my workouts, bringing people together and juggling all of it on my own.
19. What’s your biggest fear?
I’m afraid time is going too fast! I fear that I have so much that I want to do still and not enough time to do all of it!
20. Secret most people don’t know about you?
A lot of people don’t know that I was once very overweight and unhappy with myself and the way I looked but I changed all of that by allowing myself to be who I really am and allowing positivity into my life and around me.
