The Duke Hotel Newport Beach and its signature restaurant Citrus are offering a hotel stay package and decadent brunch menu in celebration of Mother’s Day. You can treat your mom to a relaxing weekend getaway while enjoying a variety of tasty dishes, refreshments and bottomless mimosa,
The Mother’s Day Weekend Hotel Package will be offered for a three-night stay Thursday, May 11 through Sunday, May 14 and is priced at $350, with $139 per additional night. The hotel package includes: Complimentary valet parking, welcome amenity for two people and Mother’s Day brunch at Citrus for two people $50 gift card redeemable at The Spa Santé and Salon located at the hotel.
The Mother’s Day Brunch is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 14 and is priced at $59 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The special brunch menu includes a complimentary glass of Champagne or mimosa and choices including a Breakfast Station, Butcher Board, Greens, Choice from the Sea, an Interactive Pasta Chef Station, Hot Entrees, a Carving Station and Dessert Display.

Harry Potter in Concert at Segerstrom Hall

Segerstrom Center for the Arts will bring Harry Potter in Concert, a must-see show running on May 12-13. This concert features the film Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in high-definition, on a giant screen, while the Pacific Symphony performs John Williams’ unforgettable score. You can relive every magical moment as the music brings life to a story that has bewitched the world.
The show times are Friday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 13 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Harry Potter Film Concert Series start at $39 and are available online at SCFTA.org, by calling 714.556.2787 and at the Box Office at 600 Town Center Drive in Costa Mesa.
