Scents and Men’s Haircuts New to Union Market

Union Market just opened Scent Avenue, a specialty shop for all things aromatic. You can stop in for candles, diffusers, bath bombs, wax melts and more – from brands such as Nest, Archipelago and Voluspa. Scent Avenue is next to Shangri-La.
Open noon to 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. 949.748.8535.
Black Steel Barbershop, a concept from longtime O.C. barber Sebastian Cabrera, just opened at the Union Market. The retro style barber shop specializes in haircuts and grooming services starting at $23. You can choose from straightrazor shaving, hair styling, beard grooming and even eyebrow trimming.

COASTAL KITCHEN LAUNCHES LUNCH & NEW HAPPY HOUR

Dana Point's darling restaurant, Coastal Kitchen is now serving lunch daily and new happy hour specials for the summer. The Southern California inspired restaurant is now open every day at 11:30 a.m, serving signature lunch items such as the classic Tuna Melt, Cheeseburger, and the Fried Brie Salad featuring crispy garbanzo beans, grapes, Granny Smith apples and agave-madras vinaigrette.
If you miss lunch, you can still take advantage of the restaurants new happy hour specials! Monday-Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., you can enjoy an array of sips and small bites, all for under $10 as part of their summer happy hour. Cool down with a cocktail (or two) as you munch on roasted red pepper hummus, pork belly bites or the crowd-favorite chef’s daily tacos.
Coastal Kitchen offers a diverse menu featuring seafood, farm-fresh salads, sandwiches and premium dry-aged steaks.
