Marvel’s Inhumans and IMAX to Host National Dog Day Event with Bulldog Rescues

If you're considering adopting a bulldog, now is the time! In celebration of National Dog Day on Saturday, August 26 from 1 to 5 p.m., IMAX and “Marvel’s Inhumans” are partnering with SoCal Bulldog Rescue and Bulldog Club of America to celebrate National Dog Day with a Meet the Breed event in front of the Edwards Irvine Spectrum 21 IMAX.

Not only will you be able to play with their adorable bulldogs and hopefully start the process to take home your own loyal and royal companion, but you will also have the chance to take photos with the GIANT Lockjaw.

You can also take advantage of an exclusive ticket offering through Atom Tickets with a one-day only event offering $5 off your order of 2 tickets – to bring your human best friend! - to experience the first chapter of “Marvel’s Inhumans” on the big screen.

The first two episodes of Marvel Television’s new series “Marvel’s Inhumans”–filmed entirely with IMAX digital cameras–will screen worldwide exclusively in IMAX for two weeks beginning September 1, 2017. ABC will then air the entirety of the series, including additional exclusive content, starting on Sept. 29.

Free Classes for Caregivers from Alzheimer’s Association

Caring for Someone with Mid-Stage Alzheimer's (Part 3) on Monday, August 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Huntington Beach. Alzheimer’s Association’s Orange County Chapter is offering a free class designed for the middle stage of Alzheimer’s disease, those who were care partners now become hands-on caregivers. You can join them for this 3-part series and hear caregivers and professionals discuss helpful strategies to provide safe, effective and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer’s.

Part three (3) of this series provides information on respite care options including informal care, day services, in-home care services and senior living options, as well as managing and coping with difficult feelings.
