10.25.17
Steve Melen of Winner’s Circle Shoes, a self-described financial advisor by weekday, sports dad and racehorse owner by the weekend, along with his fiancé, Tanya Brandt, a former creative landscape designer collect winning horseshoes from across the country so that everyone can own a piece of luck. Melen is also a stomach cancer survivor who grew up with Brandt in Saratoga, California and after Steve beat stomach cancer, he felt lucky to be alive and dreamed of owning a race horse--so he did. Now, Steve and Tanya are sharing their story and luck with custom framed Winner's Circle Shoes and gifts to commemorate love, life and special occasions.
Winner’s Circle Shoes offerings also include —“Get Lucky” hats and one-of-a-kind lucky charms handcrafted from melted down horseshoes acquired by the farrier. And, for the holidays, they’re offering the Mistletoe Horseshoe. You can hang a horseshoe above the doorway to bring good luck into your home. Each shoe is from a horse that crossed the finish line first in their race. All shoes come with a certificate of authorization. The Mistletoe Horseshoe cost $25, with $5 going to the American Red Cross for disaster relief.
