More Nights, More Boots on the Floor at Westwood Coast
01.30.26
Westwood Coast is giving Orange County country fans even more reason to head to Triangle Square. The casual steakhouse and live music spot has added a third night of country line dancing, now welcoming dancers Tuesday through Thursday evenings at its Costa Mesa location.
Tuesday is Country Family Night from 6 to 9:30 p.m., open to dancers of all levels. Children must be 10 or older, and no drop-offs are allowed. One parent or guardian is required for every two children under 18. For guests ages 18 to 20, a valid ID is required if attending without a parent or guardian.
Wednesdays are reserved for guests 18 and over from 8 to 11 p.m., while Thursdays turn into a 21-and-over night from 9 p.m. to midnight. Complimentary line dance instruction is offered each night, making it easy for first-timers to jump in.
The fun continues into the weekend with acoustic music on Fridays and five-piece country bands on Saturday nights.
On the food front, Westwood Coast recently rolled out more than a dozen new menu items. Highlights include blackened salmon with garlic mash and asparagus, Rey Rey’s hot chicken sando, a Westwood bacon burger with wagyu, sea bass with mascarpone mash, Cajun shrimp pasta, and a steakhouse burger, among others.
Westwood Coast is located at Triangle Square, 1870 Harbor Blvd., at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Newport Boulevard in Costa Mesa. Dinner is served Tuesday through Friday starting at 5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday beginning at 4 p.m. Live country music is featured on select nights. Marelle Santa Monica Sets the Tone for Coastal Dining on Ocean Avenue
01.30.26
Marelle Santa Monica is the signature restaurant at Sandbourne Santa Monica, led by Santa Monica native and respected chef Raphael Lunetta. With decades of experience and deep local roots, Lunetta brings a thoughtful, ingredient-driven approach that feels right at home along the coast.
Set on Ocean Avenue, Marelle blends fresh California flavors with an easy indoor and outdoor flow, making it a natural choice for sunset dinners, weekend brunch, and cocktails that stretch into the evening. The menu highlights seasonal produce, local seafood, and small details that reflect a strong sense of place, including honey harvested from Sandbourne’s onsite beehive and ingredients sourced from the Santa Monica farmers market.
The cocktail program adds a creative touch, balancing coastal influence with modern flair. Favorites include the Matcha Martini and the Star of the Sea, a shell-served cocktail that has quickly become a signature and a favorite at the bar.
Designed by architect Gulla Jónsdóttir, the space mirrors the surrounding coastline with warm tones, natural textures, and a seamless connection between the dining room and open-air terrace. Marelle also offers inviting indoor and outdoor spaces for private events, from celebrations to brand dinners, all set in the heart of Santa Monica.
Marelle Santa Monica is at 1740 Ocean Ave. in Santa Monica. 310.899.6122
