Lantern Festival at Segerstrom Center

There’s much to take in this March on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza with a diverse blend of FREE performances and events. Bring the whole family to celebrate the Year of the Pig with the Lantern Festival on Saturday, March 2 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

At the Lantern Festival, enjoy cultural demonstrations from across Asia featuring Chinese Chen-style Tai Chi martial arts, South Korean K-pop dance, Lion dance, Chinese folk dance, Vietnamese cooking, Chinese Yo-Yos, Ukulele sing-along as well as a Vietnamese Áo dài fashion show. Try your hand at Chinese calligraphy, visit the petting zoo featuring this year’s animal: the pig, or make your own lucky Red Envelope lantern.

The 13th Annual Table for Ten

The 13th Annual Table for Ten will be held Sunday, March 3 at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa featuring more than 45 of SoCal’s greatest chefs preparing 5-7 course meal paired with wines table-side to benefit The Teen Project! The Teen Project's mission is to give every child an equal chance at life.

This year’s host includes four-time James Beard “Best Southwest Chef” semifinalist, “Top Chef” contestant, and executive chef of Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa John Tesar. Other VIP chefs participating include Manfred Lassahn of Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort & Spa’s Watertable and celebrity chef Pascal Olhats of Pascal.

Other event highlights include a gala cocktail reception and live auction featuring top-notch prizes and adventures.
