Yappy Hour on National Dog Day
08.23.19
Balboa Bay Resort is hosting a “Yappy Hour” in celebration National Dog Day on Monday, August 26. Its waterfront restaurant, A&O Kitchen+Bar will have drink specials for both dogs and humans from 4-7 p.m. – think classic cocktails for humans inspired by four legged friends: “Greyhounds” and “Salty Dogs.” A percentage of all sales will be donated to the local Newport Beach Animal Shelter.
At Balboa Bay Resort, four legged friends are also regularly treated to a Forbes four-star experience, alongside their humans. When furry members of the family check into property, they receive a Charlie and Me bandana and toy, two collapsible dog bowls, and a homemade treat from locally based Just Food For Dogs.
After arriving to their recently renovated rooms, a dog bed is awaiting them. Guest’s pets rest easy knowing their owners helped other pets in need as a percentage of the $150 pet fee always goes towards the local Newport Beach Animal Shelter.
