Barry’s Hosting Fundraiser for Australia’s Wildfire Victims

Barry’s Long Beach, located in the 2nd And PCH shopping center, is donating a portion of proceeds from a special class, happening 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, to the Australia Wildfire Fund and WIRES (Australian Wildlife Rescue Organization) organizations. Please consider coming in, getting your workout in, and helping do what we can to help this heartbreaking situation.

Wall Garden in a Woolly Pocket Workshop at Roger’s Gardens

Vertical gardens are a great way to add a design element, color, and interest to smaller garden spaces. You can join Roger’s Gardens original designs team leader, Onita Castillo on Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., as she shows you how to plant and care for your outdoor planted Woolly Pocket Wall Garden. 

The workshop fee is $130 per person, that includes a Woolly Pocket felted wall planter, various succulents, and step-by-step instructions.
