04.28.20
We all could use something to sweeten up our days in quarantine – join Toast Kitchen + Bakery for an Ice Cream Social… Distancing! Executive Chef John Park has created some seriously delicious flavors of homemade ice cream and cookie dough for you and your family to enjoy. Plus, we highly recommend combining the two to create your very own ice cream sandwiches! You can order ice cream by the pint for just $10 and pre-scooped cookie dough for $25 per dozen.
Cookie Dough flavors include Chocolate Chip, Blonde Chocolate Hazelnut, and Oatmeal Cherry.
Ice Cream flavors include Blueberry Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, and Thin Mint Cookies + Cream.
And John Park just introduced Boba Ice Cream at Toast this week, with three amazing flavors – Thai Tea, Strawberry Green Tea Slush, and Sea Salt Jasmine Milk Tea! Guests can purchase these by the quart for $23.
Toast’s homemade ice cream and cookie dough are a super sweet way to bring your families together as we navigate this time of uncertainty. To place your order for pick-up, please give them a call at 949.873.5057, and when you arrive, simply pull up to the curb, call again or wave us down and we will bring your order to your car!

Free Meals to Marginalized Communities in Need
04.27.20
Strut BAR & CLUB in Costa Mesa is teaming up with Miguel’s Jr. and the LGBTQ Center OC to distribute free meals to Orange County’s marginalized communities on Wednesday, April 29 from 10 a.m.– 2 p.m.
The parking lot of Strut BAR & Club, located in Costa Mesa’s vibrant Westside neighborhood, will transform into a drive thru with gloved and masked staff safely handing out meal bags containing a Miguel’s Jr. burrito, chips, salsa and a drink to Orange County’s marginalized communities. Recipients are current clients of the LGBTQ Center OC and include LGBTQ+ individuals, low income communities, LGBTQ immigrants, HIV communities, LGBTQ veterans and other allies.
Luke Nero, Founder & CEO of Strut BAR & CLUB, which opened in the summer of 2019, made an early decision to temporarily close Strut in a proactive effort to keep his staff and community safe during the pandemic. To help support Strut’s 26 staff who have been displaced during the temporary closure, visit gf.me/u/xrx9ng. To learn more about Strut or to purchase a gift card for a future night out, visit http://www.strutoc.com.
Miguel's Jr. locations throughout Southern California remain open for drive-thru, curbside pickup and third party delivery. Miguel’s Jr. continues to support its local communities by offering special menu promotions and launches. For more information and locations, visit www.miguelsjr.com.
The LGBTQ Center OC has temporarily closed doors but continues providing support for its community with regularly scheduled Zoom meetings.
