Las Brisas, SOL & Solita—Labor Day Weekend Brunch Spots

With Labor Day (Monday, September 5th) right around the corner, you might be looking for some hot brunch spots. Las Brisas' extended Weekend Brunch, as well as SOL Mexican Cocina and Solita Tacos & Margaritas are all serving up delicious brunches. 

La Brisas is the perfect spot to inhale the ocean breeze and relish the long weekend! Among delicious brunch items including Omelets and French Toast, the Eggs Benedict selection is unparalleled. All options are served on freshly made English muffins with two poached eggs, hollandaise & crispy potatoes. Choose from the following: Florentine – cream of spinach; Smoked Salmon – thinly sliced; Traditional – smoked ham; and Lobster – butter poached lobster, avocado.  

Additionally, SOL Mexican Cocina and Solita Tacos & Margaritas have recently ramped up their brunch menu to highlight popular Huevos Rancheros and the decadent Soufflé Carlotta. The beverage program will satisfy traditionalists who enjoy Bloody Marys, as well as those who prefer to sip a trendy and refreshing Frozé

Luxury Shopping Event at Balboa Bay Resort

This Sunday, September 4 from 12-3 p.m., fashion styling agency Ressource is hosting a trunk show at Balboa Bay Resort with a range of luxury goods from Moda Operandi, the online luxury fashion retailer. 

The pop-up shopping event is open to the public and will feature over 40 of the most coveted seasonal designer pieces all in one place, featuring brands Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, The Row, Amina Muaddi, Sporty & Rich, and more.

The shopping event is located in the Commodore Room at Balboa Bay Resort, 1221 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, and will be hosted by Ressource’s founder Madison Taber. Light refreshments will be provided.
