Support Local Hairstylists Battling Breast Cancer: Enter The Jill Foundation’s Fundraiser Today!

Exciting news from The Jill Foundation, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting Orange County hairstylists diagnosed with breast cancer! Now, you can easily contribute to their mission by donating through The Jill Foundation's PayPal. Every $10 donation gets you one entry into their opportunity drawing—your contribution could make a difference and give you a chance to win!
Over the next few months, you can win amazing prizes while helping hairstylists in need. The first prize is a cute pink, Halloween-themed gift basket worth $200! Tickets are just $10 donated to PayPal, and all proceeds go to The Jill Foundation. The winner will be announced on October 5 (pickup only).
To see the basket in person, visit Twisted Salon – Hair Extensions in Fountain Valley. You can enter the drawing online by donating $10 to the PayPal account, and you can enter as many times as you’d like!

Market Broiler Celebrates 35th Anniversary with Exclusive Tasting Dinners

Market Broiler restaurants across California are marking their 35th anniversary with a special series of five-course prix-fixe tasting dinners, led by Executive Chef Robin Higa. These dinners highlight the restaurant’s commitment to affordable, sustainable seafood.
Founded in 1989 by Rodney K. Couch, Market Broiler was inspired by California’s iconic seafood markets and has since expanded to seven locations, including Ontario, Huntington Beach, Orange, Simi Valley, Fremont, and Torrance.
The anniversary dinners kick off in Huntington Beach on Thursday, September 26, and feature wine and cocktail pairings by sommelier Emma Lyall. Priced at $99 per guest, the event requires advanced reservations due to limited seating. Visit the Market Broiler website for more details.
