On opening day of the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach on Saturday, July 23, fans of electronic dance music can attend The Beach House, a music event from the creators of Wet Electric and Sundown Music Festival. The show performed on the beach features Cut Snake, LO'99, DJ Chris Garcia, BUNT., Dean Mason and more.
Headliner LO’99 is an up and coming Australian House/Future Bass/Tech DJ currently on his first tour of the United States. Over the past few weeks he’s played in LA, San Francisco, San Diego, Washington DC, Chicago, and NYC, and this show on Saturday will be the last one on his tour.
Beach House is from noon to 9 p.m. Must be 21 and over. Tickets and more information can be found, here.

Summer Nights at Pete’s Sunset Grill

This summer, every Friday and Saturday evening Pete’s Sunset Grille at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach offers a fantastic selection of food and free live concerts. You’ll find live rock, hip-hop, and blues musicians, along with Taco Buffets on Fridays and Saturday night BBQ’s from 7-10 p.m. through Labor Day weekend.
At the Friday night Taco Buffet, Pete’s is offering entrees such as steak picadillo con papas and chicken asada with warm churros and cinnamon-sugar for dessert. On Saturdays the BBQ offers entrees like Southern fried chicken and Whiskey Barrel BBQ beef with an awesome peach cobbler with pecan crumble for dessert. The cost for adults is only $19.95 and kids, ages 5-12, are only $9.95 on both days.
Chain Reaction performs tonight at Pete’s Sunset Concert Series and Jumpin Jack Benny performs on Saturday, July 23 from 7 until 10 p.m. Other musical acts include The Answer, Bud Wildstar, Goodfellaz, Brad Wilson among others. The concert series has a rotation of seven different artists, making for an amazing time.
