There's no better way to ring in the new year than on the gorgeous shores of Dana Point.
Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa has three great spots for to celebrate the start of 2012.
Celebrate the new year with an incredible five-course meal at the award-winning Vue Restaurant prepared by Chef Erasmo Rodriguez. The special menu will feature the freshest ingredients with California flair. You can choose from indoor or outdoor seating to take in the gorgeous scenery between 5 and 10 p.m. and a children's menu is available if you want to bring the entire family. Cost is $105 per person, plus tax and gratuity and reservations are required.
Meanwhile, the doors to the Richard Henry Dana Ballroom open at 8:30 p.m. to get the party started. With a $25 cover, enjoy live entertainment by OC Vertigo and dance in the new year with hits from the 70s through today. The cover charge includes party favors and discounted parking. A cash bar will be available and the celebration ends 12:30 a.m.
Beginning at 9 p.m., take in the ocean view at the OverVue Lounge. Live entertainmet by the Grateful Dudes will be the soundtrack for the evening and there is no cover charge for the atmosphere or cool ocean breezes.

OC White Christmas!

Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas” has come to the stage at Segerstrom Center for the Arts through Jan. 1, 2012. The show promises to be a joy filled experience for the whole family. “White Christmas” is a tale of two showbiz friends putting on a Christmas show in a Vermont inn, who find romance with two sisters in the process. The musical is non-stop dance, romance and merriment, not to mention classic songs including “Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep,” “Happy Holiday,” “Sisters,” “Blue Skies,” and the unforgettable title song, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
Segerstrom Center for the Arts is offering a 25% military discount with prices as low as $15. For tickets and an entire schedule of performance dates and times view online at SCFTA.org.
