Craving a fresh and healthy fast casual Mexican spot? Tortillaz in Irvine fits the bill, serving healthy alternatives of Mexican classic dishes by offering wheat tortillas, brown rice, cage free eggs in its breakfast burritos ($5.50), and always grilled black Angus beef, grilled white meat chicken, Wahoo grilled fish, and fresh homemade salsas and sauces.
Go for the grilled Wahoo fish taco combo with cabbage, sprinkled with Monterey jack cheese, pico de gallo and cilantro sauces, and served with choice of two sides white or brown rice, black or pinto beans, seasonal vegetables or seasoned corn ($5.25); or when you’re extra hungry, the grilled carne asada burrito with lettuce, jack cheese, pico de gallo, guacamole and cilantro sauce ($7.75).
Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday; and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Ladies Day Out

Take the day off Sunday and enjoy a fun-filled Ladies Day Out from noon to 5 p.m. at Dantian Studio in Costa Mesa. For just a $25 entrance fee, or $20 pre-paid ticket, you can enjoy a day of shopping, beauty services, take pictures at a photobooth and sip on cocktails. You can expect complimentary mini facials, massages, waxing endermologie treatments, fitness demos, reiki, and discounted spray tanning.
The class schedule starts at 1 p.m. with a one hour Terra Essential Oil workshop; at 2 p.m. a one-hour hypnotherapy class, at 3 p.m. a one-hour meditation workshop, and at 4 p.m. a 30 min. skincare and peptides class. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Octopus Children's Foundation which helps at risk children and teens.
