Thanksgiving Dining in OC

No time to cook a Thanksgiving feast this year? Let some of the local experts do it for you. Here’s a round-up of some renowned restaurants in Orange County offering Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 22.

Provenance – Newport Beach
With more than 18 years of restaurant and catering experience, Provenance Executive Chef/Owner Cathy Pavlos knows how to do Thanksgiving right – without hormones, antibiotics, preservatives, and with everything made from scratch.  Enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner at Provenance on Thursday, November 22 between 12:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and indulge in a 3-course menu that offers something for everyone in your family. Reservations are required, and the menu is priced at $51.50 per guest (excludes tax and gratuity), and $21.95 for guests under 12.  Due to limited seating, reservations are mandatory. Driftwood Kitchen – Laguna Beach
Spend Thanksgiving at the beach! Join Driftwood Kitchen from noon - 6 p.m. for a Thanksgiving feast prepared by Executive Chef Rainer Schwarz. Hendrix - Laguna Niguel
Let Chef Rainer Schwarz and his talented culinary team take care of Thanksgiving this year. Their traditional holiday menu offers dishes like Roasted Greater Omaha Prime Rib, Whole Roasted Thanksgiving Turkey, and Scottish Salmon Filet. The special 3-course pre-set menu is $65 per guest and $19 for children 12 and under, excluding tax or gratuity.

Sapphire Laguna – Laguna Beach
Spend Thanksgiving at Sapphire Laguna on Thursday, November 22 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m! Whether you crave a traditional Thanksgiving meal with Herb-Roasted Diestel Hen Turkey, or something more global, like Beef Tenderloin & Butter Poached Shrimp or Baked Kurobuta Pork Shank, Sapphire's 3-course prix-fixe menu has the makings of a perfect holiday dinner! The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar – Newport Beach and Tustin
Chef Yvon Goetz’ and his talented team will be hosting an exceptional three-course Thanksgiving dinner at The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar's Newport Beach and Tustin locations on Thursday, November 22nd from 12:30-8pm. Guests will be able to enjoy a traditional Turkey Dinner or select one of Chef Yvon’s signature dishes as their entree. The holiday dinner is priced at $64.99 per guest, excluding tax and gratuity. Selanne Steak Tavern's Three-Course Thanksgiving Celebration
On Thursday, November 22, from 1 to 8 p.m., Chef Joshua Severson's meal features three delectable traditional courses made with his special flavorful finesse, along with choices and accompanied by six of everyone's favorite sides served family style - from duck fat fried Brussels sprouts to French and Romano bean casserole. First Course options are Butternut Squash Soup with pumpkin seed, pickled cranberry, and sprout leaves; White Pear Poached Pear Salad with baby Tuscan kale, candied pecan, goat cheese gnudi and pear cider vinaigrette; Beet Ravioli with herb goat cheese and orange hazelnut dressing; or Caesar Salad with black garlic aioli. Entrées are Kurobuta Leg of Ham with Smith apple-celery root puree; American Wagyu Ribeye Roast 12 oz with smoked trumpets, creamy horseradish, and cabernet jus; or Mary's Farm Heritage Turkey with slow poached breast and dark meat roulade, house cranberry and masala jus. For Dessert, there's Chocolate Pecan Coconut Pie or Baker's Pumpkin Pie. And, guests will want to pair their holiday dinner with fine wines and bubbly from Selanne's Wine Spectator "The Best of Award of Excellence" list.
