Nights of 1000 Lights at Sherman Library & Gardens

The 5th Annual Nights of 1000 Lights celebration at Sherman Library & Gardens on Friday, Dec. 7 and Saturday, Dec. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. promises to be the best yet with all new light displays featuring more lights than ever.

You can enjoy a flurry of fun in the Central Garden, boogie through the disco inFERNo, and take a trip through the glistening light tunnel. Soak up the technicolor displays as you walk throughout the Gardens. In the Tea Garden, you can join the hula dancers in singing Mele Kalikimaka. And, don't forget to visit the gnome village on your way to Santa's Workshop.  

All guests will enjoy complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, cookies and a make your own 'smores station. The will also be a photo-op with Santa, holiday photo booth and fun arts and crafts activities. Additionally, there will be a no-host wine and beer bar, tamale vendor and holiday shopping available in the Garden Shop.  

Café Jardin will be open and offering a special prix fixe holiday dinner -$50 per person
First Course is a Poached Pear with Glazed Ham
The second Course is Iceberg Lettuce with Roasted Pecan, Pomegranate and Stilton Cheese OR Wild Mushroom Soup with White Truffle Oil
Main Course is Wild Rice Stuffed Quail and Side of Sage Sweet Potatoes OR Barramundi (Asian Sea Bass) Encrusted with Pine Nuts and Topped with Vanilla Bean Buerre Blanc Sauce OR Vegetarian Option: Acorn and Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter Toasted Hazelnuts
Dessert is Pecan Pie OR Pumpkin Pie
Children's Menu is $22
Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese Sandwich OR Homemade Meatballs and Pasta / Dessert: Chocolate Brownie with Berries.

Tickets to the event and reservations are required for dinner.  For information and dinner reservations, please call Café Jardin 949.673.0033.  

Tickets: $10 Friends Admission; $20 Non-Member Admission; Children 3 and under are free.

All pre-purchased tickets are will call. This is a rain or shine event - no refunds.
