We're are thrilled about today’s launch of 31 Bits Fall/Winter jewelry collection, "Winter Chronicles." As longtime fans of 31 Bits Designs we feel like this is its best line yet. 31 Bits will open its Costa Mesa showroom to the public from 2 to 5 p.m. today. The new line was inspired by stories of its designers in Uganda, who share their tales while they are creating, hand-rolling, varnishing and then stringing beautiful pieces of jewelry. Fashion Island just opened the first Quiksilver Waterman Collection store dedicated to  its namesake collection by Quiksilver. It’s ideal for water sports enthusiasts who are into surf, paddling, or fishing and looking for high quality men’s apparel, footwear and accessories. Pretending Turns 2!

Pretend City is turning two in a big way. You can help celebrate on Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free admission, fun activities, special guests and birthday cake!  More than 500 children are expected to sing happy birthday, and enjoy cake from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Since it’s opening, more than 335,000 visitors have come to Pretend City Children’s Museum to experience an educational facility unlike anything we have seen in Orange County. We just found out that the Belgian bakery and café, Le Pain Quotidien, will be opening it first OC location this October at Fashion Island’s Pacific Court.
