Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen, located in Downtown Fullerton, continues to uphold its esteemed MICHELIN recognition, receiving the prestigious Bib Gourmand Award for the third consecutive year. The restaurant, under the expert guidance of Pakistani Chef Imran "Ali" Mookhi, offers an upscale 100% Halal dining experience, harmonizing flavors from Pakistan, India, and Afghanistan into a diverse and eclectic menu.
Chef Ali, with a background of training under MICHELIN-starred chefs in renowned global kitchens, has played a pivotal role in Khan Saab's success. The restaurant's innovative approach to traditional Desi flavors has garnered national acclaim, evident from Chef Ali's history of affiliations with distinguished establishments like Tantra on Sunset, Tamarind of London, and Dosa.
Nestled amidst Downtown Fullerton's vibrant culinary landscape, Khan Saab stands out as a South Asian treasure, showcasing Chef Imran Ali Mookhi's skillful use of spices and flavors, particularly with red meat. The menu features an array of choices, including chicken, fish, and vegetarian options, though beef takes the spotlight. Noteworthy selections include beef (sirloin) kebabs with mustard oil, yogurt, and garlic, as well as signature dishes like Khan biryani and chicken Karahi.
Complementing the culinary offerings is an inventive 100% non-alcoholic craft bar program, a pioneering initiative in Southern California. The mocktail menu boasts Desi-inspired concoctions, such as the Tower of Peshawar and the Smoked Negroni, reflecting the essence of Khan Saab's unique fusion.
Khan Saab invites guests to savor its flavors seven days a week, with operating hours from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
